Every time I have stayed at the Greenbrier, I have enjoyed it’s amazing chandeliers. They are GORGEOUS! This time I decided to take pictures of them to share with you guys. Every time I came across one, I would snap a photo. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized just how many great lights they have. LOTS of pictures in this post, but I hope you enjoy the Greenbrier lights as much as I do. 🙂
This one is in the Grand Ballroom and has hovered over many famous people from Grace Kelly to 26 Presidents. If lights could talk…
These two green ones are part of the Main Dining Room. They are one of the reasons why I love to eat there. You can have an amazing breakfast buffet in the main dining room or an elegant delicious dinner.
Some of these beauties are just casually hanging out in the restrooms or hallways. It is so worth it to explore all the the decor of the Greenbrier. It is truly decorated like no other place I’ve been to. Here’s a video of me walking through so you can get a better idea.
Sconces
Then there are the sconces that hang on the wall, instead of from the ceiling. The pink one above is my favorite!
I may not be able to have a giant chandelier in my house, but I could have this adorable lamp. I did look at my lights a little different when I got home. Would love to make some exchanges with the Greenbrier. 🙂
More Chandeliers
Gone with the Wind Chandelier
The last two chandeliers are the newest additions to the Greenbrier. The first one is in the new Greenbrier Casino and the second one, while new to the Greenbrier, is not new at all. It was one of the lights used in the movie, “Gone With the Wind”. It now hangs in my favorite bar area. I love to sit under it, have a mint julep and pretend Clark Gable is sitting at the next table. Or better yet, sitting at my table.
Which one is your favorite?

Wow! I love chandeliers and the Greenbrier takes theirs seriously. What a great collection here! These are some of the fanciest ones I've ever seen. I love them all and no wonder you took all these pictures. I'd do the same too 🙂 My favorites have to be the Main dining room ones and of course, the pink.

Of course, I gravitated instantly to the pink one, but they are all gorgeous. Can't imagine what their light bill is like! 🙂
