Welcome to Vegas! I actually took this picture on our last day when we spent a ridiculous amount of time at the airport. More about that at the end…
Since our hotel connected to the Forum Shops, we spent some time exploring that area. I love the fountains and over the top decor in there.
There are some REALLY expensive stores in the Forum Shops. I thought the Louis Vuitton luggage would be perfect for the Happy Travel Bug. Hopefully they will send it to me soon. 😉
I know the Kardashians love to party in Vegas. While we didn’t see any of the girls, we did see their (step) Dad, Bruce Jenner. He was actually a speaker at an event we attended. He spoke on his Olympic adventure, not his Hollywood adventure, and it was very interesting.
This Brahma shrine is in front of Caesar’s Palace, right by Serendipity 3, where we had lunch. I liked all the colors and decorations on it.
Our last night, we went to a Mandalay Bay for dinner and to see Michael Jackson’s “The One”. We walked over to the Bellagio to look around first and found this gorgeous display in the atrium. I put more of it in a YouTube video if you want to check that out.
I also found the world’s largest chocolate fountain at the Bellagio.
It was hard to get a good picture of the fountain, but I did get this chocolate shoe filled with truffles. Yes, please!
I’m not a big gambler, but I love the slot machines. My favorite is the Goldfish! So fun!
My last shot was taken from my airplane window after we FINALLY made it onto the plane. As mentioned at the beginning of this post, we spent a ridiculous amount of time at the Las Vegas airport. 11 hours, to be exact! Mainly due to cancelled and delayed flights. But we met some really nice people and I managed to read all the magazines I brought. So it all worked out. 🙂

Hi Sonja,
Eleven hours? Wow! At least you were smart enough to snap, snap pictures for Blue Monday. Thanks for that. (I'd love to see that chocolate shoe close up.)
Have a Happy Blue Monday!

Wow, it's all about extravagances in Las Vegas, although i thought the Brahma display was quite different and unique to see!

I wanted to see that chocolate fountain when we passed through. Maybe next time…

I think I'm the only person who has never visited Vegas, and I'm not even that far away! Looks like a good time. I would have loved to see Bruce Jenner speak, even though he's considered a bit of a joke these days..
