When you think of Disney characters, I’m sure Mickey Mouse comes to mind. He was and always will be the “the original”. I guess that is why Walt Disney is holding his hand in this very prominent sculpture at Disney World.
I’ve seen this so many times as I traipse through the Magic Kingdom, but I never noticed what surrounded it. Once again, my new blogger/photographer eyes were on the hunt! 😉 And this is what I found!
Donald Duck! I love this little pantless fellow! Not only for his silliness, but also for that funny voice. My husband does the best impression of it and it cracks me up every time.
Pinocchio! I always felt sorry for him because, let’s face it, we have all told a few lies here and there. How would you like your nose to grow every time you did that!? Not good! I wouldn’t mind it happening to my kids though. 😉
Pluto! I understand him a lot more now that I have Louie! You could pretty much make a dog character anything…because dogs are crazy!
Dumbo! I’m not a giant fan of this movie. It really makes me sad, especially now that I’m a mom. But he is a cute little guy, that’s for sure.
Chip and Dale! These two are trouble! When I was pregnant for the first time I wanted it to be twins. This is what I envision having twins to be like. Insanity! Glad I only had one kid at a time. That is all I could handle!
Goofy! Garsh! I am a goofy person, but not this goofy! In fact, I’m not sure I know anyone this goofy! How about you?
Brer Rabbit! Love his southern accent and his log ride at the Magic Kingdom. I remember reading stories with this character as a child, but not watching many Disney things with him.
Minnie Mouse! Love her! Love the outfit, love the attitude, love the giggle! She just seems so sweet and understanding, we could all stand to be a little bit more like Minnie!

I love this post! I would be either Chip or Dale because I still can't hear enough of their Christmas Song during the season. . .I'd be able to sing it to my heart's content if I were one of them.
I have never actually watched Dumbo or anything with Chip and Dale. I hear they don't show Brer Rabbit's movie Song of the South anymore because it's not very racially correct, although I do like the song from it. That Donald statue is my favorite because I have a photo of my son next to it, and I don't know how he did it, but he looks exactly like Donald.
